Day 2

Eclectic shops surround the nearby Marion Uptown District town square. Enjoy Midwestern art at the Campbell Steele Gallery. Then buy some hand-rolled truffles and dark chocolate sea salt caramel as gifts at The Chocolate Shop.

For lunch, try the Let’s Meat in the Middle salad (romaine, iceberg and spinach with ham, turkey, roast beef and salami tossed in Parmesan and pepper dressing) at Ramsey’s Metro Market.

Don’t miss the renowned Grant Wood collection at the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art or the Grant Wood Studio, where Wood painted some of his most famous works.
