Co's Candy-Bar Brownies

Combine packaged sweets with homemade frosting for this easy dessert. Top with your favorite chocolate-covered candy bar, chopped, or small chocolate candies.

of your favorite chocolate-covered candy bar, chopped; or, small chocolate candies

Directions
- Prepare and bake the brownie mix according to package directions using a 13x9x2-inch baking pan. Let cool in pan on a wire rack.
- Frost cooled brownies with Chocolate Butter Frosting. Top with chopped candy bars, small chocolate candies, or, if you like, decorative sprinkles. Cut into bars.
Chocolate Butter Frosting
Ingredients

unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/3

butter or margarine
- 2

sifted powdered sugar
- 1/4
cup
milk
- 1 1/2
teaspoons
vanilla
- 2
cups
sifted powdered sugar
Directions
- In a bowl, beat cocoa powder and butter with an electric mixer on medium speed until fluffy. Gradually add 2 cups sifted powdered sugar, beating well. Slowly beat in milk and vanilla. Slowly beat in 2 cups sifted powdered sugar. Beat in additional milk, if needed, to make a spreading consistency.
